Pib's Programs
A Few Things I've Written
I am the author of of the
Windows NUNet Internet Access Installers,
NUPop, LanTalk, PibTerm, and SPSS Manova, among other things.
Freebie Utilities
This is where I place programs I've written which you can use for free.
- PibARV is a simple console utility for Windows 95/98/NT
which displays the contents of many types of compressed files
(.ZIP, .ARC, .LZH, .CAB, and so on). It is similar in intent and usage
to Vern Buerg's old FV.COM program for MSDOS. You can retrieve the
executable and Delphi32 source for PibARV v1.0.9 (99/10/21) as
pibarv.zip. You are welcome to use or
distribute this program for free, but you may not sell it. To compile
the program you will need Delphi 3 or later and the ZipTV components
v2.52 or later from
Microchip Data Systems.
- PibARX is an enhanced version of PibARV which
extracts the contents of many types of compressed files.
You can retrieve the
executable and Delphi32 source for PibARX v1.0.9 (99/10/21) as
pibarx.zip. You are welcome to use or
distribute this program for free, but you may not sell it. To compile
the program you will need Delphi 3 or later and the ZipTV components
v2.52 or later from
Microchip Data Systems.
Shareware Hall of Fame
In June of 1997 I was elected a member of the
International Shareware
Hall of Fame based upon my work on PibTerm back in the 1980s. Please
