This is a photograph of my father, Robert Francis Burns (b 1914, d 1999) taken in January 1944 during a brief Army leave. He was the son of John Michael Burns and Eva Tillotson. Robert married my mother Paulette Henriette Lequien (b 1918, d 1995) in Paris, France.
