Northwestern University Web Pages

The main Northwestern home page, also known as NUInfo, leads to most other Northwestern-related information. The Northwestern Web Index is a good place to start looking for specific web-based information at Northwestern. You can also search NUInfo, the main Northwestern University web server.

Northwestern University uses a locally modified version of the CSO PH system, originally developed at the University of Illinois, to implement an electronic directory of students, faculty, staff, and organizations. One of the local modifications is the addition of a web_page field which allows you to publish your web page address. If you are a member of the Northwestern University Community and you have a web page, I suggest you register your web page so your PH record points to your web page. Your web page will then appear in the official list of Northwestern University personal web pages.

The student computing page offers helpful information to members of the Northwestern community (not just students) about computing at Northwestern such as buying a machine, getting help, using public computing labs, accessing electronic directories, and more. Also see the Northwestern University Information Technology web page for more information about computing at Northwestern.
