Elizabeth Ann Tillotson was the daughter of Leonard Tillotson and Mary Cossitt Thomas. Elizabeth was born August 14, 1834 in Brunswick, Medina County, Ohio. She was the sister of William Thomas Tillotson and a first cousin of my great-great-grandfather Franklin James Tillotson. Elizabeth is sitting at the right in the picture above.
Elizabeth married married Charles Green Munson on April 3, 1863. Charles was born on October 8, 1832 in Brunswick, Medina County, Ohio. He was the son of Jacob Munson and Postreme Shinn Reeves. Charles is sitting at the left in the picture above. The Munson line for Charles back to Thomas Munson is: Jacob, Ithiel, Titus, Abel, Joseph, Samuel, Thomas.
Charles farmed the 120 acres of land he owned near Carland, Shiawasee County, Michigan.
Elizabeth and Charles had four children, all born in Fairfield, Shiawasee County, Michigan:
Ezra W. Munson was born June 23, 1864. He is standing at the top left of the picture at the top of this page. Ezra was married twice. He first married Anna Wooll on October 10, 1894. She was born December 19, 1864 to William and Rosanna Wooll. Their wedding notice from the local Elsie newspaper reads as follows.
Thursday, October 11, 1894. Married at the home of the bride's parents in Elsie yesterday, Miss Anna Wood (sic) Mr. Ezra Munson, of Indianapolis, Ind. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Munson, of Carland, parents of the groom, gave him a handsome reception at their home this evening.
I assume "Wood" above is a simple misspelling for "Wooll."
After living five years in Indianapolis, Ezra and Anna moved back to Michigan, living in Grand Rapids. Anna died there on November 24, 1904.
Ezra married Stella Snyder of Indianapolis, Indiana in September, 1907.
Ezra was a successful contractor and builder.
Ezra W. Munson died July 28, 1931. He is buried in River Side Cemetery in Elsie, Clinton County, Michigan. See his obituary.

One of the pleasant events of this vicinity was the marriage of Liza, the highly esteemed daughter of Mr. George Bradley, and Mr. Harry N. Munson, an exemplary young man, of Fairfield township, occurred at the home of the bride's father, Thursday, December 6th.
At 9 o'clock Mrs. Dr. Wilson played Mendelssohn's wedding march during which the Rev. Mr. Hill entered, attended by Mr. Henry Schroeder as best man and Miss Daffied Dodge, as bridesmaid, followed by the bride and groom.

Albert Beldon Munson was born January 29, 1870 and died two months later on April 1, 1870. (The date also appears as March 30.) Albert was called "Bertie" by the family.
Milo Chester Munson was born July 4, 1874. Milo married Nellie May Swarthout on March 20, 1901. She was born September 19, 1878 to Monroe and Mary Swarthout. I believe these were the same folks as James Monroe Swarthout and Mary Able, both of whom are buried in the Elsie village cemetery.
