Train Wreck in Elsie, Clinton County, Michigan
The following photos document a train wreck in Elsie which occurred on
the line which connected Elsie with Ann Arbor, Michigan.
The fifth and sixth photos state the wreck occurred January 28, 1911.
The first four photos were taken by W. W. Wooll of Elsie,
one of the many relatives of Betsy Wooll Tillotson.
The fifth photo (with the date) was taken by Sheldon Wight, another well-known
photographer from Elsie. The photographer of the sixth photo is not named.
