A photo taken by Sheldon Wight around 1909 of an early log cabin in Elsie. This is the type of home in which my great-great-grandparents Franklin and Jane Ann Sexton Tillotson lived in Elsie. This photo is probably not of their cabin, which we believe was torn down not long after they left Elsie for Illinois in 1865.
