I was born in Chicago. I've lived in or near Chicago all my life. Chicago seems to bear a negative image in other parts of the world. That's too bad, since Chicago and the many towns in its vicinity are wonderful and lively places to live and work. There's always lots to see and do around Chicago.
The main campus of Northwestern University resides in Evanston, a suburb of Chicago located directly north of Chicago along the shores of Lake Michigan. A smaller campus, comprising the medical, dental, and law schools for the most part, resides in Chicago itself just north of the busy downtown area.
