Caroline Rogers Tillotson was the daughter of Zadock Tillotson, Sr. and either Susan Caroline Rogers or Almira Benjamin Babcock. Caroline was born about 1841.
Several sources indicate Caroline was Almira's daughter. However, Almira's obituary says she and Zadock had no children together, so perhaps Caroline was the daughter of Zadock Tillotson and his first wife Susan Caroline Rogers after all.
Caroline married Amos Woodruff on July 22, 1861 in Medina County, Ohio. Amos was the son of Nelson Woodruff and Junia Warner of Louisville, St. Lawrence County, New York. Amos was born November 11, 1840, probably in Louisville.
Caroline and Amos had five children:
George Woodruff was born June 20, 1861 in Berea, Ohio. He married Frankie Ann Jones on September 23, 1886 in Blissfield, Michigan. Frankie was the daughter of George Jones and Ann Calkins. Frankie was born in August 1868.
George and Frankie had four children.
Walter Raymond Woodruff was born February 6, 1888. He married Mabel White on December 17, 1911.
Franklin Laurance Woodruff was born October 22, 1907. He was married twice. He first married Virginia Nichols on March 25, 1927. They had five children. Franklin married Jane Faith in 1954. They had no children together. Franklin died in 1963 in St. Louis, Missouri. He is buried in the Raisin Center Society of Friends Burying Ground (Little Hope), at Raisin Center, Michigan.
Florance Mary Woodruff was born August 9, 1891 in Toledo, Ohio. She married George Wesley Delano on April 20, 1911 in Jasper, Michigan. He was born to George Delano and Carrie Ostrander on October 15, 1889. Florance and George had four children. George Wesley Delano died February 04, 1948 in Mesa, Arizona. Florance died February 14, 1960 in Adrian, Michigan. Both are buried in Weston Cemetery in Weston, Michigan.
Gertrude May Woodruff was born September 11, 1889 in Lenawee Junction, Michigan. She married Dwight Powell on March 15, 1913. They had three children. Gertrude died September 9, 1933 in Adrian, Michigan. She is buried in Palmyra Cemetery, Palmyra, Michigan.
George was a farmer. He died October 31, 1935 in Lenawee Junction, Michigan. Frankie died in 1945. Both are buried in Raisin Center Friends Church Cemetery, Raisin Center, Michigan.

Ida B. Woodruff was born in 1864.
Fred Woodruff was born in 1866.
Carrey Woodruff was born in 1870.
Amos was a shoemaker. Caroline was usually called "Carrie" by her Tillotson relatives.
Amos Woodruff died July 22, 1899 in Coloma, Michigan.
